Great Ocean Road: Why Visit?

People world over want to visit the Great Ocean Road, some for its rugged scenic landscape and others for the popular tourist attractions established along the way.

There is never a dull moment on this 243 kilometers of eastern coastline dotted along the way by historic monuments like the Cape Otway, Bells Beach, Port Campbell National Park, Apollo Bay, Warrnambool and the Twelve Apostles.
The drive can be done over a number of days with stops at smaller lesser known tourist towns that offer plenty of accommodation options to suit every pocket.

Tourist spots like Lorne, Mariners Lookout and the Otway Lighthouse can all be covered on a journey on the Great Ocean road.

If you travel during Easter you could catch the Rip Pro Curl Surf and Music Festival held annually.

Additionally you get to see Kangaroos, Koalas, Penguins and other Australian wildlife at the Port Campbell National Park.
